Now in it's final week be sure to experience the action packed adventure of the story of the magical flying car, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. Eccentric inventor Caractacus Potts, his two children Jemima and Jeremy and the delightful Truly Scrumptious will only be in Brisbane until 22 December.

Sensational sets, stunning special effects, Ian Fleming's irresistible story, and an unforgettable score by the Sherman Brothers (Mary Poppins) all add up to a blockbuster musical that everyone will love.

Boasting a stellar Australian cast of over 70 headed by David Hobson, Rachael Beck, Shane Bourne, Jennifer Vuletic, George Kapiniaris, Todd Goddard and Tyler Coppin as the Childcatcher.

This multi million dollar production remains the longest running musical ever to play at the London Palladium and was nominated for three Olivier Awards, five Tony Awards, ten Outer Critics Circle Awards and four Drama Desk Awards. Chitty Chitty Bang Bang holds the Guinness World Record for the most expensive stage prop in the historyof British Theatre!

The essential idea behind Chitty Chitty Bang Bang is one that all educators share: the importance of nurturing imagination and creativity. A child who will look on the world like Caractacus Potts - as a magical place of possibility - will grow up to be the inventor who gives us life-saving machines, moving poetry, or words that bring people together. Or as the author Ray Bradbury said, "Touch a scientist and you touch a child."

the overall performance with all the cast members were first class and the stage lighting was spectacular. Also the main star of the show david hobson was brilliant and again his singing voice was exceptional.

Great show and very happy with view and sound from our seats, first timer, enjoyed the whole experience, took my two girls who also loved it. We were right up the front and saw the orchestra playing and could really capture the emotions, facial expressions from the actors, loved it worth the money, something we don't do a lot of but would like to make it a yearly event to go to the theater once a year!

great fun for all the family, loved the cast and the comedy, special effects amazing, lots of children at the matinee but they were all so taken in by the music and all the smoke and lights that they were perfectly behaved. A great first time experience for children to learn to love live theatre
Wonderful and Magical!
