Australia's jazzman brings big band to Brisbane
Award-winning Australian jazz musician and international superstar James Morrison is bringing his big band to Brisbane.
The 18-piece band features improvised solos by each member and the vocal talents of Carl Risely and Emma Pask, who James describes as the greatest gift to Australian jazz vocals in the last decade.
The band has toured throughout Australia and overseas, recorded three live albums, performed for HRH Queen Elizabeth II and many other heads of state - not to mention developing an earthy groove that is the reason this music is called 'swing'.
