More

Aboriginal Centre for the Performing Arts and QPAC present an exciting double bill which showcases the breadth of talent, sensitivity and dynamic energy harnessed by the students of ACPA as they present theatre and dance works directed by some of Australia's leading arts directors and choreographers.

Souls Entwined
Souls Entwined
is a collaborative dance experience which highlights the diversity of Australian culture through mesmeric movement, music and storytelling. Esteemed choreographer, Gina Rings, alongside Richard Causer and Elise May from Expressions Dance Company, present a diverse range of dance works showcasing the unique qualities of the ACPA dance majors.

Directed by Penny Mullen, Associate Artistic Director ACPA

Soul Music
Self-knowledge is power.  But who are we?

Soul Music is a celebration of identity - of finding it, of losing it, of confronting it and drawing strength from identity's deepest well, the soul. The multi-talented students of ACPA present a world premiere of a bold, theatrical and musical production. They take us on joyous and poignant journeys of self-discovery through song, dance, poetry and comedy. At the end of the trip, we find ourselves.

Conceived and Directed by Stephen Helper
Starring the students from ACPA
