Bobby Dazzler! Celebrating the Helpmann Centenary
Touring nationally until June 2010
QPAC Museum has received funding from Visions of Australia to tour this exhibition, which celebrates the centenary of Sir Robert Helpmann's birth in 2009. Helpmann is one of Australia's theatrical legends, an internationally acclaimed dancer, choreographer, stage and film actor and director.

This exhibition is supported by Visions of Australia, an Australian Government program supporting touring exhibitions by providing funding assistance for the development and touring of Australian cultural material across Australia.
KICKING UP DUST: From Grass Roots to Centre Stage
This exhibition celebrates indigenous dance in Australia, with work documenting the Laura Dance Festival in Cape York by Cairns-based photographer, Kerry Trapnell. A performance DVD Laura Legend & Lore is included.
Curated by QPAC Museum with the assistance of Consultant Curator, Elverina Johnson, a Kuganji woman from Yarrabah.
The exhibition includes 50 framed photographs (600mm x 690mm) in 5 crates (700mm x 600mm x 870mm), signage and leaflet. Cost is artist fee of $500 (+GST) and return freight costs ex Brisbane.
