On this day in 2008 the Queensland Ballet performed Swan Lake. Each time we see this stunning ballet come through QPAC, we're all amazed by the dancers, music and costumes. A favourite performance would have to be Matthew Bourne's Swan Lake in 2008. With so many variations of this classic ballet, we thought we'd do some research and post our favourite Swan Lakes costumes from around the world. Enjoy.  More

Imagine the perfect day in early 20th Century Rome. What would life have been like, and would the scenery be much different to what it is today? On this day in 2000, "The Devil's Fiddler", Roby Lakatos, performed in the Concert Hall as part of Brisbane Festival. He made a huge impression with his virtuosic skill at Hungarian gypsy violin, which has to be seen to be believed. Fortunately Lakatos and his ensemble are returning to QPAC in December.
