Clancestry returns from 30 July in a program of First Nations arts and culture at QPAC.
An iconic event part of QPAC’s calendar since 2013, Clancestry is a celebration of identity and connection, providing a platform for both established and emerging First Nations artists to share their stories, perspectives, and talents.
Headlining this year’s program will be a concert combining the power of music and storytelling in Warriors, featuring powerhouse First Nations artists Andrew Gurruwiwi Band, J-MILLA, Jungaji and Radical Son. Also joining the program is Bangarra Dance Theatre’s incredible new work Horizon, with more performances and events to be announced soon!
Be immersed in the vibrant and continually evolving culture of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander performing arts in a program proudly curated and run by Australian First Nations People, and join us as we create, connect, and share as our ancestors have done for thousands of years before us.
